"Snow-pocolypse"

This is near my house so you can have an idea of what was going on in my area on Tuesday.

Photo from January 11, 2012 Anchorage Daily News. Many of you are wondering where your winter snow is. Don't worry! It's here!

HERE is how yesterday went in our little town. We are ok but it was like a hurricane with snow. On the plus side, my shovel did not blow away.

Is that because it's buried under the snow?

I see the picture of Mr. O is now a polar bear. Is that his new winter coat he is wearing?
Good luck keeping a path for the pups!

Hi there, Well we didn't get the snow but we sure have the wind and the cold. Actually if you want, feel free to keep the snow the rest of the winter-I like it warm here at 30-40 degrees. Have a great day.
Hugs,Noreen

Okay, here's what I think you need to do. Just start packing all that up in boxes and shipping it to all your furends down here who really haven't got any yet. You might even be able to SELL it to all the Sibes who are snowless. I bet Khyra would get out her mom's plastic card SO fast!

Like I said yesterday - stay warm and safe!

Shovels are apparently in short supply. Protect yours!

Yesterday's icicles were gorgeous and the snowfall is beyond imagination.

Stay safe.

I'm glad you all are OK. I knew you were keeping the snow for yourself. :) I think you will need to spray your shovel gold. We are supposed to finally get some snow tomorrow through Friday. Seriously mmy friend I am happy you are all safe and sound. HUGS.... xo

Wow that is unbelievable !! Stay safe and warm my friend! Wonder why mother nature is so pissed at Alaska and giving the rest of us Spring like winter! Be careful!

That looks SCARY. Stay warm, stay safe. For some reason winter is piling on Alaska. Hope it lets up soon. I have been driving a porcelain bus, battling the flu and losing this week. So-oo sick. Feel horrible. I'll be back again to comment, when i'm feeling better. take care.

The main roads are in reasonable shape. But on the day that picture was taken there were winds recorded at 104 MPH. A hurricane with snow! It was crazy!

I have worked for over 25 years with my husband. At this point I come and go within reason as I wish. And right now.... I wish!!!
