Elizabeth and I arrived to gentle California breezes after a long night flight. In the header picture I am settled on our deck enjoying the view of the Santa Monica pier with a much needed cup of coffee.
And below: the evening view. The Santa Monica Pacific Park ferris wheel is solar powered and very jazzy all lit up at night
We were at the Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel. Very nice place to escape from Alaska!
I eventually got up, took off my shoes and headed to the beach to join this little group of birds. The water felt so good!
